A superlative antique Mahajaran Sarouk carpet. The navy field is decorated with floral clusters, Willow trees and a flowers that form a large Quatrefoil motif in the center. The shades of green, yellow and light blue are stunning.
A brick red border that is decorated with willow trees and flowers frames the field and the carpet has the unusual feature of a narrow, plain ivory color band around the exterior guard border.
A densely woven and durable carpet that also features a design that is beautifully articulated and has a wonderful palette.
