4.7 x 6.4 Antique Heriz Rug, “Herati” Design, Northwest Persia, Circa 1915
A well woven antique Heriz rug with the classical “Herati” design on a navy blue field that is framed by a coral color, leaf and flowerhead design border with sky blue guard borders.
This rug has significant wear, with some restoration and “touch-up”. That said, for people who like the currently very popular “shabby chic” look, it has nice clarity and colors.
It is priced accordingly, very significantly less than if it were in very good or excellent condition.
