3’6″ x 12’4″ Antique Bakhtiari Runner, Cypress and Willow Tree Design, South Persia, Circa 1910

An antique south Persian Bakhtiari tribal runner rug with a bold version of the famous “Bid Majnun” design featuring Cypress and Willow trees. A brick red border frames the field and is complemented by grass green guard borders that are similar in color to the wonderful green in early Fereghan rugs.

Very good general condition. Outer guard border rewoven on one end. Other minor repair.
