An outstanding antique Bakshaish rug from the Heriz district in northwest Persia. The camel color field is decorated with various stylized flowers, leaves and vines. The design is quite distinctive and would go well in a range of interiors.

Very good to excellent general condition with minor oxidation in a flowerhead toward the middle of the field and minor low areas in pile.
