3.5 x 5.4 Vintage Bidjar Rug, Northwest Persia, Circa 1935
The navy blue field contains a sky blue and coral medallion and is decorated with the classical “Herati” design. Coral corner spandrels and an ivory border with light blue guard borders frames the field. The ivory border is an uncommon feature and makes a very positive difference in the over-all aesthetics of the rug.
A moderately priced and very durable rug suitable for a high traffic area like a foyer or kitchen.
