A finely woven antique Heriz carpet of the type often colloquially referred to as antique “Serapi” carpets. The brick red field contains an ivory and navy blue medallion with green leaves and a sky blue flowerhead. Stylized leaves and flowers decorate the field. Denim blue corner spandrels and a navy blue leaf and flowerhead border frame the field.
