4.6 x 6.7 Antique Mohtasham Kashan Rug with Vases, Birds and Flowers, Central Persia, Circa 1895
Both charming and elegant, this late 19th century Mohtasham Kashan rug features a navy blue medallion on an ivory field. Brick red corner spandrels decorated with vases and birds and a beautifully scaled navy blue border with large flowers heads and smaller floral forms frame the field.
In exceptional general condition.
This piece is consigned to us and the owners recently agreed to accept a lower price. We have added a substantial additional discount, so the price is now considerably lower than it was.
