Woven in central Persia in the late 19th century, this Mohtasham Kashan carpet features a garden panel design with Quatrefoil motifs and shrubs around a navy blue medallion. A complex border system frames the field.
A wide range of colors is seen, including Celadon green, ivory, navy blue, sky blue, apricot and brick red.
