4.9 x 5.9 Antique Heriz “Serapi” Rug, Northwest Persia, Circa 1900
An antique Persian Heriz rug of the age and caliber where they are often referred to colloquially as antique “Serapi” rugs. This piece has an ivory medallion on a terra cotta field that is framed by abrashed (variegated) sly blue corner spandrels and a navy blue Turtle design border.
