4.4 x 6.7 Fine Antique Bidjar Rug, Herati Design Field With Gul Farang Design Border, Circa 1900
A finely woven antique Bidjar rug from northwest Persia’s Kurdistan province, circa 1900. The abrashed (variegated) navy blue field is decorated with the classical Herati design and framed by a deep sky blue Gul Farang (Foreign Flower) design border. This rug has beautiful wool quality and saturated dyes.
