This antique Persian Fereghan Sarouk rug demonstrates the subtle elegance that antique rugs can reflect when the balance of spacing in the design and the quality of color meet a certain level. The brick red field contains a navy blue medallion and is decorated with stylized leaves, flowers and Boteh (Paisley shaped motifs). Sky blue corner spandrels and a navy blue border frame the field.
