A beautiful newTurkish carpet, hand woven utilizing natural dyes and hand spun wool from one of the world’s best contemporary rug productions. This production seems to no longer be operating and great examples are becoming difficult to find.
The denim blue field is decorated with the classic Persian “Harshang” design of various palmettes and flowerheads. A brick red “Turtle” border with light blue guard borders frames the field.
This carpet is from our selection of moderate and mid price Oriental rugs for decorating and new collectors. Please note, this is a new carpet where most others are antique.
