10.2 x 13.5 Antique Heriz Carpet, Sky Blue Field, Northwest Persia, Circa 1920
A very distinctive antique Heriz carpet with a narrow and long coral color medallion on a sky blue field. Smaller medallions float on the field, with ancillary stylized floral decoration. Brick red and green corner spandrels and a navy blue “Turtle” design border frame the field.
