9.9 x 12.2 Antique Heriz Carpet, Northwest Persia, Circa 1900
A finely woven and beautifully colored antique Heriz carpet. The brick red field is decorated with a navy blue medallion with coral, sky blue and green highlights. Well drawn stylized floral motifs decorate the field. Ivory corner spandrels with sage green and celadon green and a navy blue “Turtle” design border frame the field.
