8.6 x 11.7 Antique Heriz Carpet, Northwest Persia, Circa 1920
An antique Persian Heriz carpet with a navy blue medallion on a brick red field that is framed by sky blue corner spandrels and a navy blue Turtle design border. This carpet has low pile and a clear, crisp appearance. The abrashed sky blue corner spandrels are a particularly nice feature as is the well articulated eight point central medallion.
