2’1″ x 2’4″ Antique Northwest Persian Bag Face, Probably Shah Savan but possibly Kurdish, Circa 1890
A well drawn antique northwest Persian bag face with a wide color range. This piece was probably woven by a member of the Shah Savan tribe but it could possibly be Kurdish. It appears to have either been woven in the Bidjar area in Kurdistan province or further north in Persian Azerbaijan province.
