4’5″ x 6′ Antique Bidjar Rug, Herati Design, Northwest Persia, Kurdistan Province, Circa 1920

This antique Bidjar rug features the classical “Herati” design on an uncommon camel color field. The field contains an elaborate medallion with a coral color center on a navy background with leaves and flowers. Navy corner spandrels and a red “Turtle” design border with ivory guard borders frames the field.

The end guard borders of this rug have been rewoven. The general condition is very good.
