1.1 x 1.1 Miniature Antique QashQa’i Bag Face, Southwest Persia, Circa 1910
A miniature bag face, along with the kilim back which shows minor loss, woven by the Qash’Qai tribe in southwest Persia’s Fars province. Ivory eight point stars are framed bu red and blue lattice work and framed by an ivory border. The red and yellow end skirt is retained at the lower end.
We really like miniature bags and bag faces and they do not seem to be getting any easier to find.
The bag face and kilim back can be sold together or separately.
